Stock Set Thirteen. by flamora Stock Set Thirteen. by flamora

These are fairly nice, if I may say so myself. I used my new Olympus E-PL1 to capture these. I didn't think I had that many different wood surfaces in my house...but I do. I actually think there are enough left to make a second set.

You don't need to ask permission or anything to use these. I would just appreciate it if you credited either this account or my website.

These are nice! I used this one here: [link]
It's a little hard to see because it's on the molding but good wood textures are always good to have!

Thank you! I like seeing them used like that. Most people just use my resources as is.

That's good to hear! Sometimes I feel bad when I'm citing stock that's not front and center. But finding the small details is very important to me!

I use that same camera!
My recent stock was shot with it :)

Isn't it great? I don't have the patience to learn how to use an SLR, so it's just perfect.

Yeah, I love it so far, it really impresses me. I just wish I had a high grade lens, I still have the standard one, what about you?
I actually prefer an SLR and wish it had as many button functions as the first two pen cameras.

I just have the standard. I'm completely new to photography (I had a crappy $79 digital until winter), so for now, it's perfect.

O man. If you get the chance, go to a camera store that sells olympus and ask to see the 12-60 lens. Amazing little piece of glass. I will get one some day :)
Yes, that camera really impressed me with my first shoot using a model. I think next I will get a wide angle or macro lens.

I shall remember that when the time comes that I feel like I need a new lens. I've always wanted to do macro, so I think that's the first I would go for.

It's pricey but try running a search for sample photos taken with that lens.

Macro is neat, a bit tricky with olympus, if you get their 50mm lens (100 in terms of 35, which you should also look for galleries of for sample pictures) you'd have to get the macro extension tube to get 1:1 magnification. So that's what I'd get. Plus a teleconverter and the lens adapter for 4/3 to m4/3.

Oh my, that might as well have been in French. I'm not too knowledgeable about the technical aspects of photography...yet. Hopefully I'll be able to study up over the summer.
